The 14 Irish citizens previously detained by Israeli forces have landed in Istanbul airport, according to the husband of Galway city native and Sligo GP Dr Margaret Connolly
They were arrested for being part of the Global Sumud Aid Flotilla attempting to break the blockade on Palestine.
Among those deported to Turkey today is President Catherine Connolly's sister, Margaret
