A city school is hoping to improve its facilities.

The Board of Management of St. John the Apostle National School in Knocknacarra is seeking planning permission for a two-storey extension.

The development will include 4 Special Education Teaching rooms at ground floor level and a multipurpose room at first floor level.

A decision is expected from the city council next month.
