Works will get underway in the coming weeks to upgrade the iconic Galway Market beside St. Nicholas Church.
The works will take place between Monday October 6th, and Friday November 28th.
They'll include surface and lighting upgrades, which have been long sought by traders.
Paul Illien of the Happy Loaf stall, says they're thrilled that these works will be going ahead.
