Councillors move to extend Tuam parking time limit

Councillors are looking to extend the parking limit for parking around Tuam town.

A recent meeting of the Tuam area councillors heard concerns among business owners and the wider community.

However, council officials made the point that longer parking times might negatively impact revenue for businesses.

A motion was backed to extend parking limits from two to three hours, and Independent Ireland Councillor Shaun Cunniffe explains why they'd like it to be explored
