Local councillors are urging the Government to boost non-public roads funding for Galway.

1.4 million euro was recently announced for repair and improvement works on rural non-public roads across Galway through the Local Improvement Scheme

However, councillors have raised concerns that there is already a backlog of works to be done, and the funding doesn't go far enough.
