From Galway Bay FM newsroom- Galway County Council has given a commitment to address the lack of recreational amenities at Oranhill in Oranmore.

That's according to Councillor Martina Kinane, who says there will soon be more than 2 thousand residents living at the estate - but there are still zero facilities.

It's been the source of long-running frustration, including a failed locally-led campaign to ring fence development land for a public park.
