CPO confirmed for Mountbellew sewerage scheme

Galway Bay fm newsroom - An Bord Pleanála has confirmed a compulsory purchase order for Mountbellew sewerage scheme.

An oral hearing on the lands to be acquired in the CPO was held last October.

In its direction, the board stated it considered a number of areas including the objections, the relevant policies for the county development plan and the community need for the project.

The board decided to confirm the order without modifications.
