Craughwell to Oranmore road to reopen around now after serious collision

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The road between Craughwell and Oranmore wil reopen around now following a serious collision last night.

A man in his 20s is in a serious condition in hospital following the incident after the motorbike he was driving collided with a car.

It happened on the R446 between Oranmore and Craughwell just after 5pm yesterday.

Gardaí carried out a forensic collision investigation of the scene earlier today and the council is now clearing the scene.

The road is due to be re-open fully by 1.30 this afternoon.
