Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai say they are not treating as suspicious the death of a man whose body was recovered from the canal in the city yesterday.
Emergency services attended the scene at the canal at Nun's Island at half 9 yesterday morning.
The victim, who is from East Galway, was in his 70s, and Gardai say the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
