Funding of more than €1.1m has been announced for projects in the West and North West that support adults and children with a disability.
Overall, 106 projects will share the fund through the 2026 HSE Summer Respite Initiatives, to enhance the availability, diversity and acessibility of respite supports.
They're based in Galway, Mayo, Roscmmon, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Initiatives include sport and physical activity, creative arts, wellbeing programmes, outdoor and environmental education, cultural engagement and science & technology.
