International media in Tuam to tour new forensics facility for Mother and Baby Home excavation

International media were in Tuam this afternoon, to visit a new forensics facility linked to the excavation at the former mother and baby home site.

They were also briefed on progress in the ongoing excavation works, which have recovered 99 sets of infant remains to date.

The new multi-million euro forensics facility is located at Toghermore house, and hosts a team of international experts.
