€14 thousand was raised for children in Galway during this year's National Pyjama Day.
In February, 2,500 children and educators in 56 early years and school age care facilities across the county wore their favourite pyjamas in aid of charity.
Nationally, more than €300 thousand was raised, to support children's charity LauraLynn and a new nature initiative from Early Childhood Ireland called Eco-Emotions.
Since the first National Pyjama Day in 2003, almost €5 million has been raised for a range of charities supporting children.
