The Education Minister has confirmed to local Senator Shane Curley that details on eligibility criteria for extra exam time for dyslexic students will be published very soon
Fianna Fáil Senator Curley has long been calling for more supports and time for students, and has raised the issue several times in the Seanad.
He made the case that it was recommended by experts 17 years ago, and has said the State Examinations Commission needs to go further than a pilot programme next year.
Speaking after Senator Curley brought forward a motion on the issue, Education Minister Helen McEntee confirmed the positive news
