Garda investigation following house fire in Oranmore

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai are investigating following a house fire in the Oranmore area overnight.

The blaze broke out at an unoccupied house in the Tawin area at around 3am.

Gardai and two units of the city fire brigade attended and remained at the scene for almost four hours.

The area has been sealed off this morning for a technical examination.
