Final approval has been granted by An Coimisiún Pleanála for a housing development in Mountbellew.
The plans led by Cahermorris Developments Ltd would see 39 homes built on an infill development site behind the Aldi store at College Road.
The plans were approved by county planners earlier this year, but an appeal was lodged on various grounds, including alleged lack of capacity in the water network.
The higher planning authority has now ruled it can go ahead.

But no home can be occupied until the development is connected to the upgraded Mountbellew Wastewater Treatment Plant.
