Galway Bay fm newsroom - €32,000 in funding has been announced to support the provision of a community centre, offices and digital hub for Inis Meáin.

The funding has been awarded to Comhlacht Forbartha Inis Meáin through the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
The new community hub will be located in the old diving centre on the island, with the new funding enabling designs, tenders and associated works to be carried out on the site.

Gealtacht Minister and Galway West TD, Sean Kyne says the new centre will play a part in supporting jobs and development on the Islands.
