Further pressure will be put on University of Galway this week over its links with Israeli IT Technion.
Galway City Community Network will hand in a letter to President David Burn demanding immediate action.
This link with Technion isn't a direct one, but comes through a collaborative EU research project on producing hydrogen from seawater.
University of Galway has previously said it legally cannot pull out from the project, which commenced before it agreed to refrain from any future projects involving Israeli institutions.
But human rights campaigners refuse to accept that, saying there's no moral justification at all.
The ongoing link has seen various protests over the past two years, as well as many honorary doctorates being refused or handed back by high-profile figures.
Now, a letter is set to be handed into President David Burn this week from the Galway City Community Network, which represents more than 200 groups.
The letter was agreed at the organisations recent AGM, and it will ask that University of Galway immediately withdraws from the research project.
It further warns that failure will have serious implications for current and future collaboration between the university and GCCN's member organisations.
It concludes that its position reflects its core values of anti-racism, equality and diversity, social justice, social inclusion and human rights.
