Further rainfall weather warning now in effect for Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Another status yellow rainfall warning is now in effect for Galway.

It's the second to be issued for Connacht in the past 24 hours.

Many areas across the county have once again been experiencing heavy and sustained downpours this afternoon.

Met Eireann is warning that falls of up to 40mm are possible over a short period of time.

The weather warning will remain in place until 6 o' clock tomorrow Tuesday evening.
