Galway City Council 2nd in country for EV adoption

Galway City Council ranks second in the country for Electric Vehicle adoption.

However, the County Council is much further down the rankings, with just two of its 315 vehicles electric.

While, according to Geotab Analysis, 20 of Galway City Council’s 83 vehicles are now EVs.

It means the City Council is among just six of the 31 local authorities in the country which have electrified more than eight percent of their fleets.
