Galway city house prices rose by 11.6% in the past year

Galway Bay fm newsroom - House prices in Galway city have risen by 11.6 percent in the past year.

The average price of a home nationwide is up point 1 per cent between June and September, compared to the second quarter.

While in Dublin prices are 6 per cent higher than a year previously.

Daft.ie report author Ronan Lyons has said that the number of homes available to buy is up by over a fifth.
