Galway Euromillions player wins half a million euro

Galway Bay FM Newsroom - A Galway lotto player has won half a million euro in last night Euromillions draw.

A spokesperson for the national lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket was in the Euromillions plus game and that the winning ticket was bought in the XL story in Eyre Square.

The winning numbers were 8,9,11,13 and 35.

The main Euromillions jackpot was 130 Million Euro and there was no winner.

In total, over 89,000 players in Ireland won prizes.
