Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway has recorded the highest number of applications for the Beef Environment Efficiency Pilot.
The scheme is a one year programme which aims to increase economic and environmental efficiency in the suckler herd.
Minister of State and Galway East TD Ciaran Cannon says the pilot has had over two thousand applicants from Galway - the highest in the country.
