Galway Rural Development has sponsored the volunteer organisation Carepack.ie.
The GRD will support the ‘kindness campaign’ - which allows the public to send gifts and care packages to residents in nursing homes this Christmas.
Since 2020, more than 76,000 care packs have been sent to residents in nursing homes across the country.
Chairperson of the GRD Councillor Pete Roche says the GRD is proud to be a supporter of the organisation's work.
