Galway TD says Tusla needs to provide more information on complaints

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Galway TD says Tusla needs to provide more information about complaints.

There has been a 46 percent increase in the number of complaints made to Tusla against creches, child minding facilities and pre-schools.

The figures - released under the Freedom of Information Act - are for the first six months of this year, compared to last year.

Tusla has been notified of the death of two children who were attending childcare services in 2019.

It also shows five children have also gone missing while in childcare.
