Garda appeal following break-ins at two Galway construction sites

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai are appealing for information following break-ins at two construction sites in the city and county.

The first incident took place at a construction site on Prospect Hill in the city centre some point between 5pm last Thursday and 6.45am the following morning.

A large number of Milwaukee, Hitachi, DeWalt, Bosch, and Makita power tools were taken during the course of the burglary.

The following incident took place at a construction site in Moycullen village between 6pm on Saturday and 7am on Monday.

The tools taken include a Milwalkee cordless power drill, a Milwalkee grinder, a Partner con saw, a Hilti cordless drill, a Hilti nail gun as well as a number of Milwalkee power tool batteries.

Anyone who may be offered any of these power tools for sale is asked to contact Galway or Salthill Garda stations in confidence.
