Gardaí examine CCTV following break-in at Daybreak Athenry

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardaí are examining CCTV following a break in at a service station in Athenry overnight.

The Daybreak store at Swan Gate was broken into in the early hours of this morning.

It's understood a quantity of cigarettes was taken.

Anyone who may have noticed any suspicious behaviour is asked to contact Gardai at Mill Street.

Gardai are also appealing for information after Smarties Montessori at Raheen Road in Athenry was broken into.

It's understood the incident occurred sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday.

Entry was gained by forcing the main door of the premises.
