Galway Bay fm newsroom - The body of a woman taken from the water at New Docks in the city last month has been formally identifed.
The woman has been named locally as Margaret Donoghue, who was aged in her 50s and from the Headford Road area.
Her formal identification follows a public appeal by Gardai.
Gardai are treating the incident as a tragedy.
