Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway gardaí are advising motorists and road users to be extra cautious this morning due to poor road conditions as a result of adverse weather.
Sleet and hail showers have caused treacherous conditions on the M17-M18 motorway as well as the M6 motorway and the N59 and there have been a number of collisions.
Local roads are also badly affected and motorists are urged to take extra care approaching junctions.
