Gort to Loughrea closed following serious crash

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Gort to Loughrea Road is closed following a serious crash this morning.

The two vehicle crash happened at Cloon - some 3km outside Gort - at around 8am.

Gardai are currently at the scene and the road remains closed until further notice.

It's not yet known what injuries were sustained - but it is being described as a 'serious' incident.
