Her.ie Best Hat at Ballybrit goes to Gort woman

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gort's Eileen Lundon has been named as this year's Best Hat at Galway Races Ladies Day.

She took the accolade with her two-tone lemon and pink tilted headpiece being designed by new Galway milliner Caithriona King from Corofin.

Eileen's prizes include a VIP stay at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

The judging panel included TV personality, Síle Seoige, nutritionist and author Rosanna Davison, Gillian Fitzpatrick from Her.ie and fashion blogger Ciara O' Doherty.
