Kinvara community group Sky Before Screens will tomorrow evening host an event exploring the impact of smartphones through the voices of young people
There will also be expert insight and practical guidance for families for the digital age.
Sky Before Screens is a community-driven initiative of parents, teachers, artists, singers, writers and therapists formed in Kinvara last year
It's aim is to address the challenges caused by screen engagement and its impact on developing young brains.
Parents and teenagers are invited to tomorrow evening's event at 5.30 in Kinvara Community Centre

Eoghan Cleary, nationally recognised children’s rights advocate, will join researcher Dr. Robert Kilroy to discuss how we can better understand and reduce online harms.
Mr Cleary is currently working as a member of the Online Health Task Force while Dr.Kilroy lectures on Media Literacy in Limerick
