A local MEP says proposed new EU laws to outlaw child porn created by artificial intelligence represents a vital step foward.
It'll be voted on in the European Parliament this week.
As well as criminalising AI-generated child sexual abuse material, it would also remove a statute of limitation on child abuse crimes across Europe.
