Local TD strongly opposes plant-based catering proposal for universities

Galway Bay FM newsroom-Roscommon/Galway TD Michael Fitzmaurice is strongly against the proposed fully plant-based catering at universities.

Over 60 Irish academics, including a group from the University of Galway, have signed a global letter under the "Plant-Based Universities campaign."

Its goal is to implement a fully-plant based menu at universities across Ireland and worldwide.

However, Michael Fitzmaurice says that choice is needed for students:
