Galway Bay fm newsroom - A public meeting on the Dunkellin River will take place in Loughrea tomorrow (2/4).

It'll discuss the identification of the Dunkellin River as an area to be prioritised for action for water restoration and protection.

It's one of almost 200 'Areas for Action' identified nationwide under a Government plan, comprising over 700 bodies of water.

The public meeting on the Dunkellin River Catchment will take place at the Loughrea Hotel & Spa on tomorrow evening at 7.30.
