Hand in Hand Cancer Charity in Loughrea has been named the National Lottery Good Cause of the Year.
The organisation provides practical and emotional support services to families of young people affected by cancer throughout Ireland.
These supports are completely free of charge and aim to alleviate some of the stress associated with a cancer diagnosis.
Hand in Hand took home €35,000 in prize money, after being announced Health and Wellbeing and overall winners at the event.
