Major road resurfacing works are set to get underway on the School Road in Castlegar.
The works will take place along a 2km stretch of road from Ballindooley Cross towards the Tuam Road.
They'll get underway from July 1st and will take around two weeks to complete.
Councillor Shane Forde says the works are desperately needed.
