Major traffic interruptions are being flagged for tomorrow in the city and Connemara with the annual Croí Cycle

The cycle will depart from University of Galway Dangan Sports Campus at 8 Sunday morning

It finishes at The Croí Heart & Sroke Unit in Newcastle.

There are two different routes for cyclists, a 50km route and a 107km route.

The 50km cycle will depart the sports facility via the new Moycullen bypass, out to Oughterard and back via the Moycullen bypass.

Secondly, the 107km cycle goes through Moycullen Village, Spiddal, Rossaveal, Maam Cros, Oughterard and back via the Moycullen bypass.

Registration closes at noon today (Saturday 6th of June)
