Man killed in road crash in Scotland named as Corofin native

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A cyclist who died in a road crash in Scotland earlier this week has been named as Corofin native Eoin Fahey.

The 33-year-old collided with a heavy goods vehicle at Fort William in the Scottish Highlands on Tuesday evening.

It's understood Mr Fahey was in Scotland on holidays at the time.

The driver of the truck was uninjured and police say they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the incident.
