Minister and local TD Seán Canney has presented Ireland’s transport priorities for the EU Presidency to the EU Parliament Committee.
The Minister of State and Galway East Deputy has responsibility for International and Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports.
He made the presentation alongside Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Peter Burke.
Key themes include Transport as an Enabler for Competitiveness, Decarbonisation and providing a Safe, Secure and Resilient Transport Network.

The presentation was followed by a question and answer session with Members of the European Parliament.
