The newly commissioned Chain of Office has been presented to Tuam Cathaoirleach Karey McHugh Farag
Director of Services Michael Owens made the presentation at this week's meeting of Tuam Municipal District
Councillors decided earlier in the year to commission chains of office for the five municipal districts
Over the course of this week the chains will be presented

Cathaoirleach McHugh Farag said it was a great honour to be the first recipient and she told FYI Galway reporter Kevin O' Dwyer the chains provide identity and status when representing the council
