New film and TV production academy established in Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A new Film and TV production academy has been established in Galway to develop production skills in the western region.

Led by Spiddal-based Danú Media, the 'Crew Hub' is one of three nationwide, the others being based in Limerick and Wicklow.

These new academies will be focused on attracting next generation talent with a strong diversity agenda.

Danú Media is investing several million euro into redeveloping a large section of the former Galway Airport site into a film studio.
