Junior Ministers Kevin Moran and Peter Burke will visit the Aran Island of Inis Mór later this morning.
They will officially open the newly upgraded visitor centre at Dún Aonghasa.
The ceremony will also be attended by Caroline Bocquel, CEO Fáilte Ireland and Michael MacDonagh, Chief Archaeologist with the Department of Heritage.
One of Galway's most popular tourist attractions, Dún Aonghasa is the largest of the prehistoric stone forts of the Aran Islands and offers views of up to 75 miles of Irish coastline.
