The next stage of an ongoing flood defence study will look at 83 properties in the Oranmore and Kinvara areas.
The study has been ongoing since Storm Debi in 2023, with field surveys, maps and other preparation being done.
This week, local councillors received an update from the local authority, with consultants Tetra Tech, which acquired RPS, to come back with recommendations.
The 83 properties to be looked at during the next phase of the study include homes and businesses in Kinvara, Oranmore and Clarinbridge, and will be done in different sections.
