Permission granted for restoration works at Killeen Castle near Castlegar

Permission has been granted for restoration works at Kileen Castle near Castlegar.

The castle, which dates back to the 15th century, is now a private residence.

The project, led by Armando Barone, will involve the remake of the roof and battlements, as well as the renovation of the interior of the tower house and extensions.

The castle is a protective structure, and permission has been granted with several conditions attached.
