The go-ahead has been given by councillors for a major housing development in Tuam.
It comprises a 62 unit mix of apartments and houses at Farrannamartin on the Galway Road.
The proposed development also includes the provision of an electric substation, bicycle shelters, parking, and a playground.
The tender will go out shortly, and it’s hoped the building contract will be awarded by the end of January or February with construction to begin in March.
