The IDA is to apply for planning permission for a factory on its site at Creagh, Ballinasloe.
That's according to Councillor Alan Harney, who says the securing of approval would make it more attractive to investors.
Councillor Harney says Ballinasloe has a lot to offer and is strategically located.
