Funding of more than a quarter of a million euro has been announced for two iconic landmarks in the city.
The allocation under the Government's Community Monuments Fund will be split equally between St. Nicholas Collegiate Church and Menlough Castle.
It'll support essential repairs, structural conservation, and capital works to protect, conserve and improve their presentation.
St Nicholas Collegiate Church was founded in the early 14th century, while Menlough Castle dates back to the late 16th century.
