Report shows increase in employment in some Galway towns since 2006

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There's been a significant increase in local employment in some towns across Galway over the past decade.

That's according to a new report from the Western Development Commission, which examines the various labour catchment areas around the county.

The WDC report analysed labour markets in towns across Ireland; in Galway, the areas chosen were Tuam, Loughrea, Clifden and Gort.
