Two Special Educational Needs classrooms have been approved for Athenry Primary School
They are included in the latest Capital Project Updates from the Department of Education.
The project is listed as an extension and will be progressed through the Department's Modular Framework, a delivery mechanism designed to provide additional school accommodation in an efficient manner.
Galway East Fianna Fáil TD Albert Dolan says this investment will help ensure that Athenry Primary School can continue to meet the needs of its pupils and provide high-quality supports within the local community.
