Tanaiste praises employment initiative to support workers with Down Syndrome at city launch

Tanaiste Simon Harris says he's "inspired and amazed" by an employment empowerment programme for people with Down Syndrome that's been launched in the city this afternoon.

It's known as 'Abundance', and it's a social enterprise created by father and son duo Jonathon and Fionn Angus.

Their aim is to ensure real participation, and ensure that those with Down Syndrome are not just supported, but empowered.

Abundance was launched at Galway Chamber this afternoon, where Tanaiste Simon Harris was in attendance.
